Black Lives Still Matter?
Real research. Real voices. Real change? — starting in Bath.
What is it really like to be a Black pupil in a Bath school today? This project sets out to find out.
We will be collecting real testimonies and measuring what schools have actually done on race equality against the widely-used Race Equality Charter.
Since 2020, schools across the country have made pledges. This research asks: what's changed, and what's been felt — or not felt — by the students themselves?
Young people are central to this project as researchers, not just subjects. You'll build real research skills, share your own experiences, and collaborate on creative ways to make the findings count — and can earn rewards for your time.
